Software drivers for the вЂњZW050x_USB_VCP_ PC_DriverвЂќ may need to be installed in order for Z-Stick to be recognized on some computers. Both Inclusion-Mode and Removal-Mode require Z-Stick to be unplugged from the USB connector of the host, while SerialAPI-Mode requires that Z-Stick to be plugged into the USB connector of the host. Is there a particular driver version I should be using? I dont hold out much strength in getting the old ones as Win10 on the old machone detected the devices itself. The drivers I installed are far newer so I wonder if that is the issue. HS4 logging says the device is in use by another piece of software even after shutting HS4 down. When it fails I often have to restart the machine. Removing the cable I thought helped but it was ok on the cable a number of times. The local one is intermitaant in initialising.

(actually very reliable over 6+ years - perfect if you need zwave in a remote building which has wifi or LAN and want it all on the same system.) Worked so well until now it wont even recognise the com port!Д«oth have been very reliable with no issues on HS3(since first released as was on HS2) or upgrade to HS4 since it was made public (how many months now?).ДЄnyway the remote one refuses to connect. The one that has me right now is on the Aeon Aeotek S2.

Installed all plugins, then overwrote the files with the ones from the old machine (as per serveral articles). The old Was on HS3 so I upgraded on there to HS4 got it all working and installed it on the new machine. I have just upgraded my server PC to a faster machine.
